Celsius (°C), also called centigrade, is the metric temperature scale used by most countries worldwide. Water freezes at 0°C and boils at 100°C at standard pressure. To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit: °F = (°C × 9/5) + 32. Normal body temperature is 37°C. Named after Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius.
